The door less interlock system for radiation therapy rooms requires a room design with a maze. The door interlock system will provide for the radiation treatment machine the same signals as it would expect in a room with a physical heavy door. Multiple sensors in and near the maze will interrupt the machine if a person would enter the treatment room during radiation treatment. The door less interlock system has also an extensive safety system that will monitor adjacent restricted spaces.

The system developed for diagnostic equipment allows automatic remote locking of the double doors for the patient stretcher and prevent unintentional staff exposure. It will also prevent unintentional interruptions in lengthy diagnostic spiral scans because its automatic door locking features.
